My name is Branko Licardo and I am the engineer of LogicData. For me, developing an electric bed starts with a simple question: How can movement, comfort and technology feel as natural as possible? Great engineering is often invisible. Users should not think about motors, cables or mechanisms—they should simply press a button and experience smooth, quiet and comfortable movement.
With experience, my focus has shifted from asking “Can we make it work?” to “Can we make it simpler?” Fewer components, clearer structures and smarter mechanical solutions can make a product more reliable, easier to manufacture and easier to use. This philosophy connects engineering with European design. Clean aesthetics are not created by appearance alone, but by carefully engineered mechanisms, compact structures, precise tolerances and thoughtful cable routing. Every millimetre and every detail can influence the final experience.
Craftsmanship means getting those details right from the very first prototype. It also means looking beyond engineering—to the assembler, technician, logistics team and, most importantly, the end user.
The ultimate goal is simple: technology should stay in the background, while comfort remains at he forefront.
